    Description

    Up for auction is a World War I United States Doughboy Helmet.  It is all original and has the liner.  Note, that the liner is deteriorated.   The top part is stuck in the helmet and separating from the bottom.  The straps may not be all there.  One has broken into two piees.
    I do not know if some of the original paint with the number 17 is on the front of the helmet or if that is just a wear pattern.  The interior is very dirty.
