WW1 US Army Military Campaign Hat Cap sz 7 w/ Cord, hat badge insignia & chin

Description

This is an auction... for one ORIGINAL "5 stitch" brim, Montana Campaign Hat, issued to a soldier during the great war. Size is "7".  Condition is good. Has a red/white acorn cord. Has grosgrain bow-tie head band. Has a leather chin strap that struck to about 1/4" wide.  Has the bronze US EAGLE emblem- insignia badge on the front.  Has complete leather sweatband inside with initials ( T N R ???)Overall appearance is good and displayable. Wear with caution as this artifact is not new but 104 years old.  Great to collect and display.
