    Description

    World War 1 Brodie Helmet (USA) 1917
    According to the stamped lettering on the helmet's brim, the steel helmet was manufactured by Crosby Company Manufacturing in Buffalo, New York circa 1917.
    The insert was manufactured by R.H. Long & Company also around 1917.
    The helmet is in remarkably good condition considering its age, the original insert and strap are still intact and have light wear. Most helmets of this era haven't aged so well. It was found in a basement sellar in Michigan several decades ago.
