I am offering an extremely uncommon, Wood's Burslem England five-piece Tea Set
in the "Seville" pattern.
It includes a lidded tea pot, a lidded sugar, and a cream pitcher.
The tea pot spout has a grove down the middle that is
supposed to make it "no drip"
The colors are deeply saturated which keeps this lovely
floral pattern from being to prissy or grandmotherly.
I love this tea set!
I can only find one active listing on the internet in this pattern (link below) I suspect because it is so beautiful that people who have it do not part with it! There is a four year old listing for a plate on an English site and one Etsy listing for a platter that has sold (not dated).
It is probably from the early 1930s but that is as narrow as I could get the scope.
It is in incredibly good condition and is super shiny.
(I moved from 4500 sq/ft to 2000 sq ft but only got rid of 1/8th of my stuff. I promised the husband to get rid of what I don't use but selling this
breaks my heart
!)
