One of the most attractive of all the pre pro Western picture whiskey 5ths are the Castle's.  Bold embossing reads: "THE F. CHEVALIERS CO / OLD / CASTLE WHISKEY / SAN FRANCISCO, CAL." all across the face. In the center is a beautiful highly graphic, embossed castle perched upon a rock outcropping.
Hand blown into a two part mold in amber colored glass, circa 1890s. It has a internal thread tooled top and a deep concave base. Top has the original gutta percha stopper it was found with. Size is just a little under 12" tall x 3" wide. Aside from a shallow 1/4" flake on the rear heel as seen at 7:00 in the base pic, the bottle it's in nice condition.
This has one of the best embossing strikes I've ever seen on one of these!
