veterens aluminum parade helmet and veterens tunic

Unusual Aluminum doughboy helmet for parade use made lightweight. looks as if the same dies were used to stamp this shell but they used aluminum instead of steel and the liner is similar to the early russian ssh36. The tunic is in the post ww1 officers style and the patch on black felt . The tunic seems to be a tailor made has cuff stripes for officer. I bought this from an estate long ago an I don't know a lot about it but obtained it because of its unusual nature, I have never seen another. One small hole on the lower pocket flap rather unnoticeable. I assume this was made for a ww1 vet for parade use prior to ww2 and used the newer style tunic design.
