This is a set of post WWI issue U.S. Air Service Luxor No.6 goggles. Made by E.B. Meyrowitz. These were referred to as the Type B-1 for US Air Service. Curved glass lenses in an oval shape. Nickel plated frames were cushioned by thin rubber pads. Goggles are in used very good condition. Frames are E.B. Meyrowitz marked. Pads are in good condition and securely attached with no dry rot. Still soft. Center bridge is adjustable for a superior fit. Goggle strap is used in good condition. Comes in an aluminum carrying case that is marked on the top, “LUXOR GOGGLE No.6”, side is maker marked by ,”E.B. MEYROWITZ, NEW YORK,PARIS, LONDON”.
