US AEF WWI M-1917 Doughboy Helmet Original Finish liner w/Chin Strap re used WW2 , nice original ww1 piece with the textured paint,   you can see where a painted emblem or badge was removed from the front!
evidently
a vet reused his helmet for ww2 and painted the civil
defense
emblem
on it. nice example with original liner and chin straps
