2nd smaller piece that is looped, attached or embedded into the main piece
. It is loose and moves but will not detach. A very interesting and unique find!

Each spring the snow melt runs down the mountains into 100's of creeks and canyons just outside my doorstep.  The rushing, cold water erodes trees, branches and roots into creek beds where they are naturally weathered down into DRIFTWOOD by the cascading torrents! Because of the abundance of roots I often come across amazing
twisted, gnarly, curved driftwood
perfect for crafts, home decor, weddings, fish tanks, aquariums, terrariums, reptile cages, bird cages and more! I have some select pieces hanging on my wall and decorating the outdoor garden.
I do a light cleaning by brushing away dirt and debris as well as removing small pieces of bark from the wood. However, these pieces are coming to you direct from nature and
may contain small amounts of dirt
. It is highly recommended that you
soak/submerge
your wood before placing it into an aquarium. Even better if you have the ability to
boil
your pieces.  Some pieces can be somewhat
fragile and brittle
and should be handled with care to reduces small splinters from breaking off. Always make your own judgement on whether the wood is the right fit for your Flora and Fauna!
I
don't heat or treat
the driftwood in any way, chemically or naturally.
