The rarest of cholla—teddy bear! Outer diameters range from 2-3” on average. Inner diameters are at least 1.25”. These are straight cut pieces—meaning no branches and little, to no curves. Your wood will be pressure washed in 220 F water.

You pick your length—from 1” to 48”. Longer lengths are available, but buyer is responsible for shipping—please contact me for a custom listing. Select lengths are offered in multiple quantity variations.
This cholla was collected from a natural (no chemicals used in the area, etc) area. No thorns!!
Cholla is great for a variety of things--reptiles, hermit crabs, chinchillas, rabbits, aquariums, pleco, shrimp, birds, crafts, air plants, creating biofilm...the list goes on! Just know that when you buy from me--I would never send you anything that I would not personally use in my own setup.
**Since cholla comes from the great outdoors, each piece will be unique--so various coloring, knots, curves, etc. should be expected.**
To prepare the wood before placing in an aquarium or pet habitat, boil it or soak it in hot water to remove any native soils that may be present, reduce excess tannins and to make the wood sink. The time will vary in regards to how long this process will take—
it could be hours, it could be weeks, everyone has different results.
