Stunning Souvenir Building Collectible Miniature, Burj Al Arab Hotel, Dubai, UAE.  The name translates to "Tower of the Arabs".  Large, silver metal souvenir of the 5th tallest hotel in the world, completed in 1999.  At 1053 ft tall, over 39% of the building is given over to architectural flourishes and is non-occupiable space.  The helipad, at almost 700 ft high, has hosted many special events, including Andre Agassi and Roger Feder playing tennis, golfer Rory McIlroy preforming a bunker shot and David Coulthard performing donuts in a Formula 1 race car.  This 5 star hotel built for billion, was designed by Tom Wright of WKK Architects to resemble the sails of a ship at sea.  Managed by the famous Jumeirah Hotel Group, the building stands in the harbor on its own man made island.
This beautiful model, in perfect condition, stands 7" tall and 3.5" diameter at the circular base.
