    bold emb with M inside wreath all on front panel....Hand blown in mold....hand tooled tapered lip with ring....amber...square with spiral twist bulged neck....9 5/8"tall...Excellent shiny near mint condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean bottle. John McHenry opened his distillery at Benton, Pa in 1812. It became the Rohr McHenry Distilling Co and was in business until 1912....This hand blown bottle dates from the 1890-1905 period..... We are thinning out the herd as we go through boxes of 50 years of digging...keep watching our listings as many treasures are being found!
