I am pleased to offer this Vintage Solid Oak Portable Writing Box!  This box is portable in size, and opens up to reveal 4 sections:
The tool board: complete with calligraphy pen (no tip)
, mechanical pencil, and letter opener
removable storage compartment with built-in glass inkwell
2 empty storage compartments: 1 underneath the removable compartment, 1 hidden behind the tool holder
All of the pieces are made from the same wood and match the box.  The box has a ceramic square on the lid, and a key lock on the front (no key is included).
Measures approx. 8-5/8" L x 5-3/4" W x 3-3/8" H
Condition:
This antique writing box is in fair condition for its age, showing heavy scuffing & scratching to the exterior from age and display. The tools show light wear from use, and the calligraphy pen show light patina from age. The ink well shows ink staining.
