    Description

    Purchased this helmet from a local collector of World War 1 and World War 2 items.
    She told me that this was from WW1 and called the Doughboy helmet.
    There is a number 56 stamped in the liner part.
    I do not see any other stamps or anything.
    I believe that this helmet is steel.
    Condition- There are no major dings or dents that I can see- There are scratches through out. Not terrible though.
    I would rate this helmet a 9 out of 10 especially for it's age.
