    BOY HELMET.
    THE HELMET BELONGED TO - AND WAS USED BY - A RELATIVE WHO SERVED IN WORLD
    WAR I. THE HELMET HAS BEEN IN STORAGE FOR MANY, MANY DECADES . . . AND WAS JUST
    RECENTLY FOUND.
    ROUGHLY 11" x 12" x 5"
    THE ICONIC STATUE OF LIBERTY IMAGE PAINTED ON THE FRONT; INCISED IN THE
    METAL "BRIM": "Z D 54"
    NO LINER (REMNANTS OF PADDING REMAIN)
    IN GOOD CONDITION, GIVEN THE AGE OF THE HELMET . . . AND THE CIRCUMSTANCES
    UNDER WHICH IT WAS USED. SOME LIGHT RUSTING; NO DENTS; LIGHT WEAR TO
    PAINTED IMAGE OF LIBERTY.
