Antique Ornate Victorian German Scissor Sugar Tongs Silver 835 or 935 Sterling

Description

This stunning sugar tongs is marked Germany and either 835 or 935 silver. They look Victorian in style. The mark is worn. It is my understanding that Germany used both purities. I cannot find a hallmark - there is one area by the purity mark that is possibly a worn hallmark,  but I cannot tell. The tongs measure 4 inches long and weigh 27 grams. It is in excellent condition.
