    Description

    For offer is a clear (green tint) antique bottle Ca., 1850's-1870's. Shoulder has an applied pictorial 'blob' seal. Information is from scanty internet research. Neck has double applied rounded rings, and a band 7/8" upward from foot. It has a rectangular, vertical protrusion.
    Two thin side seams extend to uppermost ring, but not above it. Upper section's smooth with a bevel finished lip. Embossed emblem shows a winged creature inside a wide "C" and slightly beneath it is an embossed date, "1855."
    Bottom has a dentil ridge edge and suction mold mark, set askew. Outer kick-up has numbers in relief of, "626",  single number, "1", and, "L1" spaced in triad. Maker's mark has embossed small circle, appearing to have letters of "L" and "S" joined together.
