    Item Description
This is an absolutely gorgeous, rare and exceptional quality
Antique French Sterling Silver Sugar Bowl
by Richard-Emile Agu, from very early of 19th Century, a real Napoleon's First Empire era.
DELIGHTED TO HAVE FOR sale this exceptionally gorgeous and rare
Antique French Sterling Silver Sugar Bowl
from Napoleon Bonaparte's French First Empire era. The design is true to the period; classic Napoleonic style with richly detailed figural ornamentation in dynamic composition. The Sugar Bowl is standing on round pedestal foot with baluster stem, has two side handles with swan figurine accent. The body's surface is clean and smooth, embellished with raised floral medallion and profile of ancient Greek or Roman warrior and goddess. One of the main attraction of this fabulous Sugar Bowl is lid - plain round shape with hand-etched floral pattern, finished with a large finial: figurine features a cherub ridding on a mythological fish or dolphin, holding a knife and ready to hunt his pry.
