Description

Offering two antique 19th century soda pop or carbonated beverage round bottom bottles. They were commonly used for beverages like ginger ale and meant to be laid on their sides so their corks would not dry out.
These pretty round bottom bottles have different seams.
The darker bottle is what I think is called a two piece mold with the seam running down one side of the bottle from the neck, across the base and up the other side to the neck again. Several bubbles in the glass.
The lighter bottle has no seams down the side but instead a seamed band like a ribbon that wraps around the body starting some 4" down from the neck.
Both lips are flattened.
The bottles both measure slightly over 9" in length. No chips.
The bottles have been washed in soapy water and are relatively clean. There are light surface scratches and wear. No corks.
