    by renown master silversmith Franćois-Alphonse Debain, active 1847-1864.
    HEREWITH WE PRESENT YOU this exceptional
    Antique French Sterling Silver Sugar Bowl
    by the first of Maison Debain, Fraiçois-Alphonse Debain, active 1847-1864. This fabulous lidded sugar bowl is wholly made of the finest quality French sterling silver 950/1000 purity from top to bottom. The overall design of this Sugar Bowl is simple and crisp, clean surface body with a very finely done hand-engraving in second empire style. It stands on a round pedestal foot, having two side handles in Rococo style foliate scroll design, completed with casted acorn finial at the top. It bears hand-engraved initial on a side with classic gothic letters. Excellent condition.
