1920's Band High School VFW Veteran's Organization Overseas Garrison Hat Cap 303

Description

For sale here is an unknown Post WW1 1920's Garrison Cap.  The cap is made of purple wool felt with yellow piping.  The cap has McKinley chain stitched into the wearer's right side, and has a shield logo crest chain stitched into the wearer's left side.  This could be a school, a band, a city, a fraternal organization, veteran's organization, or any number of things.  The cap shows use, age, wear, and soiling.  There is also scattered mothing all over the cap.  Inside, the cap is lined in smooth black cotton and has a pebbled leather sweat band.  The cap has a stamped silver maker's mark from The Lilley Co.  The cap is size marked 7, but fits more like a 7 1/4.  Let me know if you know what this is, and i will update the listing.
