This is an early blackglass pictorial swan Meder & Zoon case gin bottle with swan embossed on applied shoulder seal!...crude bottom with a large faint cross or X......

bold emb on applied seal on shoulder....Hand blown in dip mold, so there are no mold seams.....early smooth base ..."footed" base corners.... crude applied tapered lip......dark olive green blackglass...tapered square shape....9 1/4"tall.... Excellent shiny nice condition with one shallow sliver chip on side of lip; no other damage. A nice clean bottle with no haze. The thin glass case gin bottle was blown in the 1870 era and contained Swan Gin. The WP under swan stands for Weesp, which is a town in Holland
