1850s EARLY FLINT GLASS WHISKEY DECANTER THUMBPRINT & ARCH PATTERN APPLIED LIP

Description

A hard to find Thumbprint & Arch pattern early flint glass liquor decanter from the 1850s or 1860s.....thick heavy glass.....hand blown with ground/polished pontil bottom.....crude applied double ring collar....10 panels around base with long sloping shoulder/neck.....9 3/4"tall...quart size.....Excellent shiny nice condition with only one small shallow flake on side, a couple tiny nicks on top inside edge of lip & a shallow flake on very bottom, along with some normal pontil scar flaking around outer edge of where the pontil scar was ground. A nice clean bottle with only a couple small spots of faint content haze...
